A site about lugs, tan sidewalls, maybe jazz, classical, punk and bluegrass, local riding, worldly riding and people, cool cats, lame ducks, 110 bcds, wool, and smelling like hell after a long ride.

this blows my mind

here, for the first time, you too can experience the excruciating pain that is my TA position at Penn State.

(in hyper colour)

First a little context:

“. Cornell and my work can relate to the surrealist movement as the artwork from this movement focused on positive emotions. My family vacation is a positive experience and Disney World is a fantasy place, an environment of dreams and happiness.”

“Starting at the far left end of my cabinet there are characters from the Seven Dwarfs, Lady and the Tramp, The Lion King, 101 Dalmatians, Goofy, Mickey, Minnie, Pluto, Donald, Winnie the Pooh, Bambi, Pinocchio, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Tinkerbelle, Alice in Wonderland, Cinderella, Dumbo and Mary Poppins. This assemblage of items almost creates a story.”

Now here is the work, which she admits is just a picture of a shelf she took on a trip home.

Now imagine grading 35 other papers of that caliber…

ok, so we can’t see your secure images on the pa state server. upload them for our enjoyment and copyright infringement.

and don’t be jealous because some 19 year old’s bullshit is beginning to transcend your own. it’s a fact of life.

Other girls piece: 4 foot shelf with a mini hookah, a pack of novelty camel cigarettes, a lava lamp, a huge alien looking mass of melted candles (basketball sized) a rat, alive and running across the shelf, a fish in a bowl. That was her big final art project.

She’s a mountain biker. Further cementing my idea that my current concentration on road biking is well founded.
