weekend b-more ride

details as yet are sketchy at best:  either a saturday or sunday ride, 50 miles, starting in towson.  no big hills, just rolling north b-more terrain.  all are welcome.  beer and wings to follow.  in quantity.  wouldnt want to lose any of that precious christmas fat…  it makes you faster on the downhills, i hear, just like lead railed carbon saddles.

i’ll try to keep everyone posted.

    I’d be interested in the ride if it’s on Sunday. I’m hoping to attend a NYE party a few miles south of Westminster and I’d dig doing a ride out that way. I’ve been eyeballing a ride in the area for a while, but haven’t yet pulled the trigger. I’d take a Chinatown bus from NYC down to the Baltimore Travel Plaza and work my way north and west from there.

    I’m sure it’s doable, but it may not work with the plans for the rest of you. However, you cats are familiar with the area so let me know what you think. Any suggestions and route ideas would also be appreciated.

    G- that whole area is great rural riding. i would say, go check out routeslip.com and look for a ride there. i cant make the group ride in bmore, but i think it has to be saturday for some reason. woulda been cool to ride with you. we’ll have to try again. maybe for one of the 3 spring rides coming up. theres a bus that runs from nyc to state college every day. oddly enough.
