Ride Lugged Writing Competition
Ok, here are the basic rules:
Entry can be any length, but not too long, ie less than 5 pages, we dont have time for that much reading.
Has to deal with bikes as an overriding theme, or bike riding, or bike riders, or bike events, ect.
Can be fiction, non-fiction, poetry, journalism.
We like pictures so they count as an extra 5 points, 6 if they contain lugged bikes. Who said we werent biased?
They can be emailed to us at jamesjohnsonart(at)yahoo(dot)com
Please title the email: ride lugged competition
Entries due the last day of February.
The top three entries will be picked by a jury consisting of an architect, a semi professional political blogger, an artist, and a computer programmer who hates to read. John do you want to write or be on the jury? G Hambone?
The winner will be picked by votes, submitted though the comment section of the blog, over the course of a week.
Anything you submit wont be edited or used without your premission, ie we arnt gunna make a coffee table book outta this stuff.
The first place winner gets her/his choice of a sugino track crank, pictured below, in whatever length they want/is in stock, or a sugino xd crankset, also pictured below. They will receive it about 2-3 weeks after the winner is declared. We have to order and ship it ya know.
I’ll announce this contest on bike forums and the bike site, and on the rbw mailing list. Feel free to plaster it where ever else you see fit.

I come to judge the quick and the stupid.
