It’s all been done before….
I’ve had this for years now… if you haven’t seen this already, it’s inspirational to see a guy 100 years ago riding a brakeless fixed gear 29er and doing things that are still relevent today.
” what comes around goes around kid…”
Fixed gear freestyler circa 1900
I would bet money that this is somehow a relative of Corys family….or mine.

So he does a couple of rollbacks pedaling backwards until he falls off…then he remounts and comes to a stop to ready himself for a double bar spin…the vid is sketchy, but that’s what he does…then he turns the bars around to basically climb around them until he falls, then pulls a dope track stand wheel grab. I would wager he’s wearing wool too!
rob, that is super rad, and of course its totally possible that that vid is legit, but, it might not be. i mean, video filters are pretty easy to use. do you know the original source?
it looks pretty rad to me.
I’m totally going to work on the track-stand hand-grab thing (in my spare time.)
btw, casey, not even a retro-grouch like you has a bike like that to screw around on, anymore.
i’m not saying its fake, i’m just saying it could be. anyway, the video is so grainy that it could be any british bike from 1900-1945. or alot of current danish commuter bikes. when we start taking theyoutube at face value, the commies win, cory!
anyway, i didnt know parts from the 80s were retro. i thought they just werent contemporary. aka old. i mean, 80s music isnt retro is it? 1986 ford escorts arnt retro…
let it be known that i dont have any really retro stuff, but let it also be known that this is primarly because i cant afford it.
It’s in the library of congress. I’m thinking it’s probably legit.
