A site about lugs, tan sidewalls, maybe jazz, classical, punk and bluegrass, local riding, worldly riding and people, cool cats, lame ducks, 110 bcds, wool, and smelling like hell after a long ride.

So this morning, after much ado, I was finally granted my new ID as a legal permanent resident.
a new passport, kind of..
So there I am happy to be done some mind-numbing bureaucracy.
good til my real passport runs out.

OK, now I can get a job at a bike shop. (I actually had one yesterday, but it was for a tour and rental company tuning crap chinese alu. town hybrids. And they wanted me to interact with American tourists which I had enough of after about 15 minutes. In classic fashion, I nixed the idea after one day of work. It’s really hard to work for the man after you have worked for yourself. Oh, well!)

    hmm…
I think I learned that one from my father! :)

and I’m not too worried about my ID on the web, what with the high quality of the pencam image (thanks Casey!!), the fact that it has no useful info on it, and the fact that I had already altered the only two personally identifying numbers.

but if you want to come here and apply for one, yourself, I can give you a few pointers.
