  1. Hells Yeah!
I haven’t seen any here, but they are super rad and I’ve read about them for about a year now.

    That would be the Copenhagen!
    check out biomega.dk

How can you not love a shaft drive bike?! (but you will miss out of the hipster calf tattoo.)

And did you notice that it glows in the dark?!

OK, so the parts are a bit junk, and it looks like it was welded by a monkey, but come one. What do you expect?

  2. You went to Sweden for this? You could have just come up to Mt Airy.

Trick, but chains are hard to beat. Internal gearing now……

  4. jack drives are only a good idea if they are really well made. even then they are heavy, and kinda tarded lookin’

  5. did anyone hear me say “glow-in-the-dark”?

  6. oh yeah. thats an important safety feature. at raves.

  7. maybe it will help you pick out your ride from the pile of bikes outside when you stumble out of the bar at 3am, too?

  8. man, just the other day I was half-joking about a bike that had a shaft drive chainstay deal…and now this. I’m still holding out for a belt drive system for BMX bikes that will eliminate the whole 25-9 gearing trend of late. I would trade the glow in the dark feature for sparks shooting out of the rear hub any day.

  9. jack drives have been around for 100 years. velocio rode one, and so did major taylor, although he didnt race on his. columbia made one, as did a few other companies.

belt drives are for motorcycles. i wanna keep my rubber on my tires, thanks.

recently a brooklyn DH bike had a jack drive. i think it was the super trucker. or tmx
