A site about lugs, tan sidewalls, maybe jazz, classical, punk and bluegrass, local riding, worldly riding and people, cool cats, lame ducks, 110 bcds, wool, and smelling like hell after a long ride.

Here is a quick review of the ride: ~73 Miles, great weather, great people and enough climbing to still feel it three days later.

I actually thought it was going to be harder for that reason. So I’m pretty happy with the way things went.

it was a good time, john. btw, glad you got yer quickbeam back, i personally liked the green, but that orange is great as well. we’ll have to put together a new frederick ride for the winter that involves adult beverages served in large glasses, and perhaps cookies served by wives who dont care that we drink too many adult beverages in large glasses.

I was hoping to be in State College visiting my wife’s family during the Ramble, but we didn’t go. Maybe next year!

The pictures suggest that the ride could have taken place on Cape Cod. The similarities are fun.

We don’t usually eat road kill though. Unless is a piece of quiche.

she rode a tiny part, so we gave her a 6th of a spoke card. the squirrel was good. kinda like a greasy pork chop, but with chicken wing crispy outter bits. mmm.
