I was comfortable enough on the setup, but that was the longest continuous ride I've done on that bike with the current gearing/cranks/pedals. I'm getting a different handlebar setup though....perhaps a flat bar. Everything else was fine/awesome. I am gonna run a light program next tour though...and I've got an idea for a handlebar "bag" setup. I'll post pics of that project as I undertake it. It took me a bit to recover from, of all things, carrying my messenger bag over my shoulder for eight hours straight. I don't think I'm carrying that so full next time. Nice to see the Peacock...I was probably pedalling up hill and trying to push through the leg cramps to notice it. I'm really surprised I rode that far on a fixie...and only had a sore shoulder to whine about. Good ole Hercules. Q WORD!
