A site about lugs, tan sidewalls, maybe jazz, classical, punk and bluegrass, local riding, worldly riding and people, cool cats, lame ducks, 110 bcds, wool, and smelling like hell after a long ride.

hmmm, how did I leave that stuff out. It wouldn't have sounded believable if I had wrote it....thanks for remembering that. I also forgot to add that we left the campsite around 8:15 am to head back down to town. I pulled into my driveway at 8:45 am and somehow showered, ate, and made it to my first clients 9 am appointment on time. I also forgot to mention the toe clips made for baby reindeer hooves...my feet were asleep the whole way to the reservior...9 miles? I totally forgot that I found that log across the stream from our site...must've been the Beam. I also packed a ceramic coffee mug, one of Hutch's plastic John Deer bowls, and of course used his plastic Ikea spoon with little blue gonads on the end. The bike was less than ideal, but totally worked...all for the sake of adventure right?
everyone should come next time...
or not,
we had fun.

rob's spoon had blue testicles, and his rear rack kept falling off, as did his panniers, yet he never complained, just looked pained. 64 oz of macro brew fixed that, along with some 12.30 am half pint beam action. he actually started to build the fire bigger at around 12, hauling huge logs outta no where (they were no where to be seen when we got there) and throwing them willy nilly on the fire. i coulda read some giddeons by the light it threw into the tent. but i slept on the rocks sans mat just fine. a great night. mel wants to do one this weekend.
