my bad for being a bitch . .. too much bsnyc for me.

there's just so much hatin' going on these days - rapha/hipsters on fixies/grant petersen/Di2/phil v. paul/rock racing/you-name-it . .. ..

it's about the ride. what you wear, what you ride and everything else is bullshit, ya know?

in any event - with my posturing out of the way, i will now do your ride in my homemade toga made out of several ShamWows, and ride lugged steel and sew-ups. way more comfortable than rapha kit and my IF.

cheers, y'all

@mega

stalking?

i'm a rider, bud. i did the NE rides long before rapha - those routes are nothing new. I just like to ride nice, thoughtful routes - especially around my hometown.

if it makes you feel better though, and gives you more fodder to pass judgment, I'll ride in rapha knicks/jersey and make sure i take out either my
Seven or IF (none of my lugged steel bikes are on their builders list - *sigh*).

will that do it for 'ya?

have a good laugh,

yeah, i know about the rapha continental stuff - but didn't realize these were team only events. I rode a few of their NE rides last year - D2R2 in MA, Acadia in ME, Six Gap in VT. nice routes.

anywho, I'll just grab the cue when it's available and ride your ramble on my own (or maybe in Oct. if i can swing it.) I'll be down that way in September for the PA 1240k this year - perhaps i can sneak-in your ramble before that as one last training ride.

I'm in Burlington, VT - quite a bit further north, but hit me up when you get here and we'll hit some dirt and I'll get you started on your long trail bender. my email is swing4792@gmail.com.

We ride nice dirt every Sunday up my way, and have a few brevet style rides planned for this year, including a 300k around the lake sometime in July. good times. cheers,

patrick, there is a date, but unfortunatly (and i think this is dumb) its not a group ride, its like, for this rapha team. however, we traditionally do it as a group ride every oct 20th or so, and this is the best time to do it, the leaves are changing, the roads in good shape, the weather cool and nice. keep posted for that.

however: where in VT? cause i will be up there from late june till early august charting dirt roads and installing a wood stove in my cabin/hut/shanty and swimming and drinking way to much long trail, and if you wanna do a ride, we should do that.

we're about 3 miles north of lake st catherine.
